Substantial redevelopment for the current home of Land Securities headquarters

We worked on a redevelopment plan for this building, comprising a mixture of office and residential space including grade A offices and high end luxury apartments.

The development would require the demolition and re-construction of a complex building over the functioning station concourse of the original Jubilee underground next to Charing Cross station.

We engineered complex foundation designs to limit ground movements below the site, securing planning consent and early approvals with London Underground.

In 2018, the development was sold to an overseas hotel developer before later being bought by Whitbread in 2022.
