Phase 1 of regenerating a residential area with associated amenities in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham has completed.
The development consists of 201 homes with communal courtyards, an integrated recreational area, and podium gardens. 60% of these homes are affordable housing. The development comprises of 3 blocks from 3 storey townhouses up to 13 storey apartment buildings. The frames are designed to minimise the carbon footprint as much as possible.
Sustainable civil engineering has been utilised across the site by a combination of green roofs, submerged planting, permeable paving and below ground attenuation to store rainwater, reducing run off to surrounding areas. All of these have been based on future climate change requirements.
We commenced work in the Autumn of 2019 and Phase 1 completed in 2022.
