Southall Park Avenue

Residential scheme to meet the need for affordable housing

MNP have been appointed by Hill Group to deliver Structural, Civil, Temporary Works and Construction Support services for Southall Park Avenue Phase 1.  The project involves redevelopment of land at Park Avenue in Southall in the London Borough of Ealing, and is part of the wider scheme set out in the Mayor of London’s local plan to bring 6,000 new homes to the area.

The Southall Park Avenue site comprises 513 new good quality, sustainable and affordable homes dispersed over 5 buildings in varying height between 5 and 26 storeys. The scheme also houses circa 1,000 sqm of commercial and community spaces at lower levels as well as a double storey basement which was constructed within close vicinity of National Rail.

PA Housing’s brief for the scheme entailed maximising the amount of affordable housing under the strict GLA funding criteria. Working in collaboration with Hill Construction and the delivery team, IDP and Colne Valley, MNP have optimised the building design and achieved the set targets.

Phase 1 works commenced in July 2023 with secant and bearing piles, and groundworks construction is currently underway.  MNP is proud to be involved with this substantial affordable housing scheme from inception to delivery and are also delighted with the progress being made on site to date.
