Matthew graduated in 2017 with a Master's degree from the University of Edinburgh.  He began his professional career as a Structural Engineer in Newcastle upon Tyne where he worked on a wide range of high-profile projects across diverse sectors.

After relocating in 2024, Matthew joined MNP's conservation and heritage team, where he has built upon his expertise whilst focusing on the restoration and protection of historic structures.  Matthew brings a unique perspective to each project, ensuring that engineering solutions are not only innovative but also sensitive to the heritage of the buildings involved.
